I’m Ian, a born and raised Minnesotan, ordained in the Order of Celtic Franciscans.
I have served in the Army for 23 years with the last nine as a Chaplain. When I’m not with my Soldiers I serve as a Staff Chaplain at a 200+ bed hospital where I come alongside patients, family, friends, and staff to support in their spiritual and emotional care.
I love to travel and have done so extensively, enjoying the people, food, and customs of a wide variety of cultures. Perhaps someday our paths will cross and I can learn a little about you.
Peace and all good things to you!
- Rev. Ian H. Olson, MDiv, BCC
A Spiritual Care Advisor can come alongside you to help unburden the things that prevent you from living life to the fullest. I want you to see that life is more than getting by and that there is hidden wholeness within.
This is your life. The one life you have to live. Commitment depends on how deep you would like to go in disovering who you are and what it means to be alive. “Pain that isn’t transformed is most assuredly transmitted.” - Fr. Rohr
The first step is to schedule an introductory session. Here, I will get an idea of how well we work together and what our next steps should be. Whether for counseling, a wedding, or funeral finding a good fit is key.
